Not at all! Many of our guests come solo — and leave with new friends, deep connections, and memories that last far beyond the trip. We intentionally keep the group small and intimate to make space for real community and fun.

Your trip includes 4 nights at a luxury boutique hotel in Medellín; daily breakfast and several group meals; curated cultural and wellness activities and tours; local transportation; and welcome gifts from Rumbita. You'll also be guided throughout by experienced hosts. We’ve got the big stuff covered — just show up ready to explore.

Yes! After your $500 deposit, the remaining balance can be paid in one or two installments. Once you're officially on the list, we’ll send you all the details and due dates to make it easy.

Yes! You can choose between a single room or a shared room. Each room features a king-sized bed and private bathroom.

Room prices are per person, and you’ll indicate your preference when booking. Sharing a room offers a lower price per person — perfect if you're coming with someone!

While we’ll be out exploring the city and beyond, the pace is relaxed. Expect a mix of walking tours, scenic escapes, and plenty of downtime (yes, a little spa reset is included). Wear comfy shoes, bring your curiosity, and we’ll handle the rest.

Medellín is a vibrant, evolving city with a welcoming culture and strong tourism infrastructure. We work with trusted local guides and vendors, and safety is our top priority. We’ll also send travel tips and prep info ahead of time.

We’ll do our best to accommodate! You’ll be asked about dietary preferences and restrictions after booking so we can work with our partners and chefs to make sure everyone is taken care of.

October in Medellín brings warm days and slightly cooler nights, so pack light layers and comfy shoes. You’ll want workout clothes for more active days, a swimsuit for the spa, and a few outfits you feel good in for dinners and outings—something casual but cute. We’ve got a mix of activities planned (and hey, there might be a camera or two around capturing the magic).

The $500 deposit is non-refundable.– If you cancel within one month of the trip start date, all payments made will be 100% non-refundable.– A brief Terms & Conditions outline will be shared upon booking.).

Trip to Medellín, Colombia | October 16–20, 2025

By booking your spot, you agree to the following terms:

1. Booking & Payment

– A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot.
– Final payment is due no later than September 15, 2025.
– Payment plans are available via Affirm or Afterpay.
– Your booking is confirmed once full payment is received.

2. Pricing

– Early bird rates are available until August 15, 2025.
– Prices increase to regular rates after that date.
– All prices are per person and include accommodations, select meals, local transportation, and activities as outlined in the itinerary.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

– If you cancel on or before September 15, 2025, we will retain your $500 deposit, but refund any additional payments.
– If you cancel after September 15, 2025, all payments made are non-refundable, including your deposit.
– You may transfer your spot to someone else (with written approval from Rumbita) at no additional cost.

4. Travel & Health

– You are responsible for booking your own flights to and from Medellín, Colombia.
– You must have a valid passport (with at least 6 months of validity) to travel.
– We recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes medical coverage and trip cancellation protection.
– By participating, you confirm that you are in good health and capable of joining all planned activities.

5. Conduct

We aim to create a warm, inclusive, and respectful group dynamic. Rumbita reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in a way that is disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate to the group or local community, without refund.

6. Liability

Rumbita and its collaborators are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, delays, or losses incurred during or as a result of your participation. You participate at your own risk and will be required to sign a separate waiver upon arrival.
